After a careful inspection you determine that a storm grey golvern katana is a katana and requires skill in two-handed and one-handed edged weapons to use effectively.
It looks like this item has been mainly crafted out of golvern, a very rare metal. It would need to be supplied to be used in an alteration and may only be used as an accent.
Patiently hammered and folded to produce innumerous layers, the blade's hamon is a rough sea of waves crashing upon an exquisitely keen edge. With a strong measure of thematic continuity, the length is riddled with jagged etchings that resemble lightning, while fine script flows like rain along the collar just above the guard.
